Urban Decay Naked & Naked 2 Review by Hina Naz

Hi everyone.
I am going to  review the Urban Decay Naked and Naked 2 palettes, which I am sure most of you would have heard/seen/own. I have recently acquired the Naked 2 palette, so I have decided to do review it alongside with my ever-so-loved Naked palette.

The original Naked palette. The packaging: cardboard covered with felt/velvet (not too sure what it is but it's along those lines) with magnetic closure.

Comes with 12 eyeshadows: (from left) Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep and Gunmetal.

It also comes with a mini Urban Decay primer potion and mine also came with a dual-ended Urban Decay 24/7 glide on liner pencil (one side is whiskey and one side is zero).

Mine is an older version I got on ebay a while back, the newer Naked palette no longer comes with a dual ended pencil but instead it comes with a dual ended brush.

This is what the packaging looks like for those who hasn't seen it before. It reminds me so much of the metal pencil cases I own as a little kid.

Let's have a look at the lip junkie and brush first before moving on to the actual eyeshadows.

The Naked Lip Junkie is a peachy pink colour with lots of shimmer.

The gloss is not very opaque but it does tinge my lips a little, shimmers are not overly apparent unless you look very closely. This gloss is supposed to be cooling and lip plumping, but I really don't notice much of that on my lips. The texture is not too thick and sticky, so the gloss is quite comfortable to wear. The smell is of mint candy, which I think is so delicious. This Lip Junkie wears like a typical gloss for me, which is around 2 hours plus and I will definitely need to reapply after I eat/drink/talk too much.

I think the shadows in the Naked 2 are more cool toned, so I don't necessarily like some of the shades against my skin tone.

My cousin from England sent me as surprised gift. :):)

Hello girls! I have a really exciting review for you today!

I want to review a product that I recieved from BornPrettyStore.com. If you’ve never heard of them, it’s a website that sells everything you could possibly need for your nails, nail art, nail tools, stickers, nail foils, stamping kits, polishes, ect. They also sell makeup and hair accessories.

The set comes with 5 different dotting tools, each tool has a larger ball on one side and a smaller size on the other end. So you get 5 dotting tools with all different sizes. I love the pretty marble designs there made out of too.

Pond’s Pure White Deep Cleansing Facial Foam with Activated Carbon

Pond’s Pure White Facial Foam has the technology of activated carbon that attracts deep-seated “black” dirt caused by impurities, oil, and makeup to reveal a pure white you. It is the first of its kind to be formulated with activated carbon, which works with “black attracts black”. Carbon when heated or “activated” becomes 8x porous; hence, increasing its ability to detoxify and gently exfoliate dead skin cells while retaining the needed moisture.

I really liked the idea of my skin being gradually detoxified of impurities by a daily facial wash. Plus I’d read a little bit about activated carbon being taken internally to treat certain problems, such as poisoning, though this information is not something I can personally attest to. It just seemed interesting to try to see if there would be any benefits of using this on my skin. I also liked the sleek, all-black packaging!

The facial wash is a pearly grey colour, is creamy with no exfoliating beads, and is mildly scented. I generally like this product.

PROS:
1. I find the slim black tube it’s packaged in quite sleek and pretty.
2. Affordable at approximately Rs.230 for 100g.
3. I like that it doesn’t have a strong scent.
4. Seems to dry out some pimples.

CONS:
So far , i have not found any negative point in it.

I am using it. Found it best :):) xxxx

Its price is Rs. 230.

Use it in morning and at night before going to bed. Best for oily skin.

BornPrettyStore !!! Hello Kitty Stamping Kit by HINA NAZ !

I have got my parcel few days back , just loving it :):) xxxx
Bornprettystore sent it to me for review. I got it in about 2 and half weeks.

The Hello Kitty & Floral Stamping Nail Art Kit W/ 3 pcs Nail Stamp is a beginner's kit which contains all the necessary things needed for us nail lovers to do simple and cute nail art on our nails via stamping. Here's a photo of what the kit looks like.

The stamping kit contains a stamp and a scraper (both in pink), 2 stamping plates (Hello Kitty and Floral) and three bottles of nail polishes (red, green and blue.)

f you have absolutely no idea as to how this thing works, you can always read the instruction at the back. I must say that I am quite impressed with the instructions on this product, because unlike most China products, the written English is almost perfect and is very much understandable.

Instructions on Nail Stamping

Prepare the necessary things you will be needing (i.e. stamp, scraper, nail polish, nail polish remover and the stamping plate).
Check if your base nail polish has already dried because you wouldn't want to mess up your nails.
Choose the design that you want from the plate. Apply a small amount of nail polish on the design, making sure that the whole area of the design is covered.
Grab the scraper and scrape of excess nail polishes.
Using the stamp, quickly stamp it on the plate so as to make the design transfer on the rubber stamp.
After checking that the design has transferred to the stamp, you are now ready to stamp it on your nails. When it has dried up already, apply a top coat.

The stamp and scraper that came with the kit comes in a pretty pink color which I absolutely love. The scraper has a plastic finish, and so I doubt if it will last long.

The kit also contained two stamping plates.

The prize of course is another thing. Its actually very very cheap, and you also get free shipping. That's what I love the most about Born Pretty Store <3
So if you guys want to try nail art stamping, I definitely recommend this stamping kit to you. Its very much affordable because it retails for only $8.77.
